Rev. Andrea knew she was meant to serve others at a young age and has walked with people through all stages of life. As a wedding officiant she celebrates the excitement of commitment and love; at naming ceremonies she lifts up the joy of new life; and through her work as a hospice chaplain and grief counselor she companions people as they transition from this life while comforting those who are mourning. She is incredibly grateful and honored to be invited by others to journey alongside them through sacred and important times in their lives and cannot imagine doing anything else.
Her favorite part of the wedding planning process is getting to know the couple, hearing their story, and then reflecting their personalities in each ceremony. She enjoys working with couples, seeing their love for each other, and collaborating with them to craft the perfect ceremony. After ceremonies people most often comment on how down-to-earth and relatable she is. Her dedication to tailoring a ceremony perfect for the couple is evident and she seeks to create connection with every couple she meets and their family and friends. She loves to write ceremonies that are meaningful and memorable.
Rev. Andrea is ordained in the Baptist tradition but has had the privilege of working with people with a variety of belief systems and from multiple faith traditions. In her free time she enjoys being by the water, spending time outside with her two sweet boys, and connecting with friends.
