Rev. Michael has been ordained since 2014, and became a professional officiant after spending many years as a full time wedding photographer where he helped capture the beautiful moments of more than four hundred weddings. Throughout his career as a photographer and an officiant, he's always been captivated by the power of the marriage ceremony to connect the couple, their families, and their guests. Michael has always been drawn to that beautiful moment when each loving couple publicly affirms their ardent desires to share their lives together, and loves working with every couple to create a ceremony that perfectly expresses their unique love story and personalities.
Michael’s commitment to excellent customer service has earned him ten consecutive “Best of Weddings” awards from The Knot and seven “Couple’s Choice” awards from Wedding Wire. He strives to ensure his couples enjoy a ceremony they will remember forever, and is honored to conduct ceremonies for any and all loving couples who wish to get married.
A man with many talents, Michael is a retired opera singer and stage director. He holds a Master's degree in Music Theory, and when he is not ministering weddings he is a composer of both classical music and musical theater works. Michael’s commanding voice has been used for a variety of audiobook narration and film voiceover projects. He also spent decades singing professionally with some of the most prestigious opera companies and orchestras in the U.S. and Europe.
Michael resides in Medford, NJ with his wonderful wife Suzanne, whom he met at the music conservatory.
